    HR Data Analyst / Customer Service - CMUWorks Service Center The

    CMUWorks Service Center at Carnegie Mellon University is searching for a Human Capital Management (HCM) Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment in Human Resources. You will contribute to the department by facilitating Human Resources (HR), Benefits, Payroll, and Workday inquiries and transactions in an efficient, accurate and compliant manner. The hallmarks of the service center are in delivering services that are timely, accurate, and highly attuned to the dynamic university environment. The service center follows the framework of a multi-tiered support model in which Tier 1 serves as the first point of contact for initial questions and walk-in services, Tier 2 addresses more complex, escalated inquiries and provides transactional support, and Tier 3 resolves issues beyond the scope of the service center. Core responsibilities will include: * Executes Employee Services customer support processes, including resolution of designated employee/business manager Tier 2 inquires. Advances inquiries to Tier 3 experts outside of the department according to established protocols, collaborating as necessary to deliver successful results. Contributes to a high-caliber service environment by ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of customer responses. * Cultivates working relationships with partners and subject matter experts. * Contributes to the user experience with Workdays products, tools, and services in a way that results in high customer satisfaction * Assists in achieving operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; resolving problems; and implementing change. * Performs workflow analysis to understand Workday functions, business processes design, and find opportunities for improvement. * Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; Responsible for data integrity; ensures data is kept confidential and maintained in compliance with university policy and legal requirements * Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing Workday webinars/publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional organizations. * Processing Workday Transactions: * Enter and approve activity pay * Enter communication allowance * Review stipend transactions You should have strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a team-oriented Adaptability, flexibility, excellence, and passion are vital qualities within the CMUWorks Service Center.
