Originally opened in 1967, the ACC currently spans 53 acres and offers 1.6 million square feet of function space and many dynamic features. The ACC completed its seventh expansion in the Fall of 2017, providing an additional 200,000 square feet of flexible meeting space to our guests. Under minimal supervision, direct vehicles to the proper parking area. Essential Functions Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Direct guests to parking spaces. Answer questions regarding parking procedures and event information. Report unauthorized vehicles entering restricted areas. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. Qualifications Knowledge of principles and practices of providing customer service; basic math; record keeping methods; cash receipts; cash register, use of credit card scanners and a calculator. Ability to add and subtract, multiply or divide quickly and correctly; follow policies and procedures; operate a calculator, credit card scanner and a cash register; communicate orally and deal effectively and diplomatically with the public, supervisors and fellow employees. Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Work in inclement weather. Be available to permit scheduling during weekdays, weekends, early mornings and holidays as assigned. Must be 18 or High School Diploma/GED. Supplemental Information Note : While the hours of work are irregular and no minimum number of hours is guaranteed, employees are expected to be available for an average of twenty (20) hours per week. RETIREMENT Anaheim employees become members of the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS). Employees hired prior to or after January 1, 2013, who are an existing CALPERS member or a member of an agency with reciprocity with the City of Anaheim, will be enrolled in the 2.7% @ 55 CalPERS retirement benefit formula. Employees contribute 4.75% of the normal benefit costs for this retirement benefit. Employees hired after January 1, 2013 , who have never been a CALPERS member, or is a member of a retirement system (CalPERS or reciprocal) but has a break in service longer than six (6) months, will be enrolled in the 2% @ 62 CALPERS benefit formula.
