The Part Time Administrative Assistant of Community Standards, reporting to the Director of Community Standards, manages the administrative elements of the student Community Standards process. Thig work is managed through an established computer system. The Part Time Administrative Assistant is expected to work five days a week with administrative computer based work that supports the Director.
BASIC POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support for Office of Community Standards, including maintaining accurate records and files through the Student Conduct database (Maxient)
- Schedules hearings for students with multiple university staff members
- Manages the schedule and voicemail of the Director of Community Standards
- Uploads and organizes documents
- Redacts documents to omit confidential information
- Confirms completion of sanctions by students through collaboration with multiple university staff members
- Upholds confidentiality of student records and information
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma/GED
Required Skills
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook etc)
- Ability to learn and work from a new computer software system
Required Experience
- A high school diploma
- Experience as an administrative assistant or a bachelor’s degree
