    Job Description

    Are you ready to be part of a dynamic, safety-conscious team in an essential industry? We are looking for motivated Batch Operators to join our team at the Stafford Plant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the daily operation of advanced chemistry processes, ensuring we meet production goals while keeping safety and quality as top priorities.

    Your Role & Responsibilities:

    • Actively contribute to our Sika SAFE Program , ensuring a culture of safety in every aspect of your work.

    • Take pride in maintaining high standards of industrial housekeeping to keep the plant clean and organized.

    • Operate packaging and mixing equipment , ensuring processes are followed according to established specifications.

    • Be a part of driving cultural change that prioritizes safety, quality, productivity, and environmental compliance.

    • Manage raw materials and packaging inventory , ensuring that production schedules are met efficiently.

    • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly.

    • Conduct line changeovers and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal production.

    • Ensure all products meet quality standards , including appearance, weight tolerances, and labeling requirements.

    • Use PLC and computer systems to monitor and control processes effectively.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
    • Experience: 3+ year experience in an industrial environment/manufacturing environment.
    • Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English
    • Must have good math skills, including the ability to work with fractions, decimals and percentages.
    • Must have the ability to develop process expertise in order to facilitate troubleshooting.
    • Must be able to maintain an excellent attendance record.
    • Must be flexible to work any shift and overtime as business requires.
    • Must be self-motivated and able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
    • Must be able to operate a forklift and other equipment as trained
