The anticipated salary range for this position is $72,000-$82,000
The Indiana University Foundation is seeking a Data Privacy Specialist. This new position presents the opportunity to become the IU Foundation’s expert in the ever-evolving landscape of data privacy, assessing and educating our leaders on how data privacy laws impact IU Foundation operations. As our Data Privacy Specialist, you’ll manage privacy law compliance by building and refining our approach to data protection. Your efforts will ensure that IUF is informed and compliant while guiding the implementation of effective data use, storage, and retention strategies.
In this role, you'll collaborate with our Enterprise Risk Management, IT Security, and Data Governance teams, ensuring our practices align with legal requirements and best practices. You will build on our existing processes, such as information security protocols and vendor reviews while synthesizing state, federal, and international laws to understand their impact on our organization.
