  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the supervision, development, planning, and evaluation of the nursing program activities.
    • Manage program budget, faculty, staff, and clinical site relationships.
    • Ensure program compliance with Board rules and regulations.
    • Develop and implement curriculum, policies, and procedures.
    • Prepare reports and documentation for state and Board requirements.
    • Maintain student and faculty records, overseeing admission processes and orientation.
    • Establish and maintain educational partnerships and contracts with clinical sites.
    • Participate in faculty recruitment, hiring, and orientation.
    • Provide academic support and advising to students.
    • Conduct Nursing Advisory Committee meetings and maintain community relationships.
    • Monitor instruction quality and participate in program review and strategic planning.
    • Ensure student readiness for graduation and licensing exams.
    • Track and report on student performance, NCLEX licensing, and job placement rates.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Current RN license in the state where the campus is located
    • Master's or higher degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in nursing, education, or administration
    • Minimum of two years of experience in both administrative and teaching positions in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs
    • At least two years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
    • Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills
    • Commitment to diversity and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and institutions
    • Experience in supervision, planning, and budget management
