Opportunity at a Glance
The Events Manager is responsible for developing, planning and executing engagement events throughout the student journey for the health vertical of Adtalem Global Education and its institutions. In this role, you will work as a member of our events team in an environment that values collaboration, innovation, and diverse perspectives. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Conferences and Events, the manager will collaborate on the event strategy and work with various functional areas including, but not limited to, recruitment events, commencement ceremonies, conferences, town halls, receptions and reunions. As an Events Manager, you'll need to have a solid interest in global event strategy and realization, event marketing, social media, research, and general technology, as this role will require you to amplify Adtalem's Health message and brand awareness. You'll need excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and proven success planning and executing in-person and virtual events. You should also have a desire to grow and evolve the events to ensure maximum customer engagement and ROI. This will require the development of best practices and processes and keeping up to date on event trends and new approaches.
Responsibilities
Plans and organizes group travel and events in North America and globally; develops event budgets; schedules and services contracts to ensure cost-effective achievement of event objectives; serves as liaison with campus and site support staff; monitors execution and provides contingency/backup support as required.
Manages the institution’s master events budget; monitors travel policy compliance and effectiveness.
Working with the regional teams establish a virtual event environment to be engaging and interactive. Manage the build, use and training of the platform.
Manage the setup of lead capture for each event and ensure the list upload process is completed.
Oversee events measurement, including the design and operation of relevant dashboards and reports to forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of events
Researches and evaluates vendors and facilities; negotiates contracts; manages communications and relationships with external partners; coordinates billing and payment for services rendered.
Lead stakeholder meetings; manage roles and responsibilities and program deadlines
Work closely with vertical and institutions functional areas including admissions, marketing, alumni, communications, operations and academic teams to achieve strategic goals through event marketing
Continually review, analyze, and report on data that impacts our events to enable better decisions on content, promotion, etc.
Contribute to, implement, and optimize the customer and user event marketing plans to include email promotions and communications, paid media, and web content
Manage internal communications and enablement that promotes the registration to and growth of our events
Travel internationally and work occasional nights and weekends to support events
Completes other duties as assigned.

_In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $61720.78 and $108334.92. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
