Cognition Builders is an education company that services families globally, through sustainable home-based intervention. We are seeking applicants knowledgeable in psychology or education to work as Family Architects. We are currently looking to expand our teams in the NYC area for both full time and part time capacity.

Our team members consist of Family Architects, who work to promote the interpersonal and intrapersonal growth of our clients. We address a variety of concerning behaviors; most notably, social, behavioral and academic concerns.

We use behavioral and language modification techniques as well as our award-winning curricula in order to teach our clients how to manage problematic behaviors. In addition, we work to improve their organizational and time management skills. Family Architects also address the family dynamic of our clients in order to address interpersonal conflict and dysfunction.

• Bachelors degree or higher in social sciences or education related field (psychology, behavioral studies, social work). Masters degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience working with principles of learning and behavior
• Basic knowledge of appropriate and abnormal development
• The ability to work independently and employ critical thinking
• Genuine empathy towards others
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
