    WHAT THE JOB LOOKS LIKE:

    • Empower clients through healthy relationship building.
    • Advocate for our clients and the success of their recovery.
    • Maintains adherence to all Safety Policies
      1. Administer drug screen protocols
      2. Oversee client self-administration of medications
      3. Supervise food preparation and completion of household chores.
      4. Conduct regular rounds to assure the security of the facility. i.e. locking doors and setting alarms after hours.
    • Transport patients to outside activities in a safe and prudent manner observing all driving laws and Rimrock’s policies and maintain driving logs.

    Required Skills

    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING: High school diploma or GED required.  Knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to communicate and work with patients with addictions.  Strong ability to set healthy boundaries and uphold them.

     

    CERTIFICATE OR LICENSE:  Current CPR training, First Aid training, valid driver’s license and must be insurable in order to drive a company vehicle.

     

     

     

     

    Required Experience

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is indoors in a residential environment with moderate noise.  Intermittent physical effort involving lifting of up to 25 pounds, walking and stooping is required.  A typical workday involves sitting, standing, walking, use of a keyboard, reaching with hands and arms, and talking and hearing. Normal vision abilities required, including close vision and ability to adjust focus.

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT/JOB LOCATIONS: Involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions in a residential setting. Work may involve mental and emotional stress.  Some driving required.  Some outdoor exposure when supervising patients outdoors and in recreation programming.  Will work primarily at a residential facility, although may be required to work at any Rimrock Facility with adult or adolescent patients.
