    The typical course of instruction may include:

    NR-581NP: Foundational Concepts for Advanced Nursing Practice

    This course examines the professional standards and fundamental historical, theoretical, and ethical underpinnings that guide advanced nursing practice. Exploration of concepts related to person-centered care; health outcomes and equity; communication; interprofessional collaboration; and contemporary issues in healthcare will enhance the professional formation of learners.

    Qualifications

    • Experience required:

    • Must have DNP or PhD or EdD or other relevant doctoral degree

    • A minimum of 2 years teaching with a background in precepting students

    • Professional Development experience preferred

    • An active unencumbered Compact RN nursing license (Required)

    • Must have subject matter expertise in the course of instruction

    • Faculty must have excellent communication, motivational, and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment

    • Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), WebEx/Teams (or similar platform) and Internet with a strong emphasis on Excel

    Additional Information

    Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Online:
    _In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $715/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on the candidate’s education and experience.

    Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
