  • Responsibilities

    The Graduate Programs Manager manages all activities associated with the academic programs of the Division of Systems Engineering and the Division of Materials Science Engineering, including serving as primary liaison between faculty, graduate students, and College and University Administration in efforts to help the Divisions achieve University goals for recruitment, retention, and superior service. The incumbent represents the Divisions to internal and external constituencies. In addition, the incumbent handles all recruiting for Division programs. They are the backup website manager and update the graduate programs pages for four program tracks, each semester and annually; collaborates with the Communications Manager, highlighting student achievements and providing statistical updates for annual reports and communications. Coordinates and publicizes student and graduate program related division events.

    • M.S. preferred
    • 5-8 years of experience
    • Management experience
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Computer literacy on both Mac and PC platform required
    • Software expertise in Microsoft Office, Dreamweaver, FileMaker Pro or other database solution; Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
    • Occasional evening and weekend work required during event sessions.
