Founded in 1889, Marlborough School is an independent girls college-preparatory school for grades 7 through 12 located in Los Angeles, California. Marlborough is the oldest independent girls’ school in the Southern California region. ATHLETICS

With 33 teams for 12 different sports, that means that every student has the opportunity to train, compete, and contribute at a level that’s right for her.

Marlborough School is currently seeking coaches for their varsity, assistant, JV, and 7th/8th grade teams in the following disciplines (depending on the current athletics hiring season):

Basketball

Cross Country

Golf

Lacrosse

Soccer

Softball

Swimming & Diving

Tennis

Track and Field

Volleyball

Water Polo

ATHLETICS - RESPONSIBILITIES

Marlborough Athletic Coaches provide leadership, supervision and organization for the Marlborough School Athletics Programs and are responsible for carrying out the objectives of the entire athletic program within the guidelines of the Marlborough Athletic Department Philosophy.

ATHLETICS - QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree preferred;

General knowledge of coaching techniques and strategies;

Knowledge of CIF rules and regulations preferred;

Coaching experience preferred;

Must possess leadership skills, and be able to set an example for the players

Excellent communication skills.

COMPENSATION

$20.00 - $65.00 per hour depending on experience and education.
