Position Summary As part of the Case Research & Writing Group (CRG) team, the Associate Case Researcher supports HBS faculty members in their case writing (either library cases, based on published sources, or field cases that entail interviewing decision makers at companies around the world) and course development efforts (e.g., case supplements, rewrites, teaching notes, and multimedia products). The CRGs mission is to support faculty by providing high quality, high value, efficient and innovative case research, development, and writing. In addition, the CRG supports HBS departments and the Schools international research centers as requested and provides research and case writing training services. As part of a tightly knit, highly collaborative, feedback-driven team, Case Researchers support HBS faculty members in their case writing and course development efforts and administrative and academic departments with research, case writing, and training services. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Case Research and Writing Group, primary responsibilities of the Associate Case Researcher include: In partnership with senior team members and under faculty guidance, write case studies based on field and/or library research. Assist in the development of other course materials (such as supplements, videos, etc). Help faculty with research projects that involve writing. Conduct research in support of case studies or on products that support the use of case studies in business instruction.
