    Job Description

    ABOUT YOUR ROLE

    As an Inside Sales Representative at Horace Mann, you will market, educate, and sell insurance products including auto, property, supplemental, and life products.  Compensation will consist of a base salary with a production bases incentive plan along with an expansive benefits package. Position will work out of our beautiful Addison TX office. You will have the pleasure of working with our niche educator market.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct continuous outbound sales calls to market and sell HM auto, property, supplemental and life insurance products.
    • Maintain and enhance relationships with school district employees, educate those employees on marketing partnerships offered through HM, develop and drive sales opportunities with potential clients, and retain/cross-sell to our existing HM clients.
    • Initiates contact with clients to increase retention, enhance client satisfaction, and drive new sales through outbound calls to potential customers and household reviews.
    • Productivity expectations for marketing and sales results are measured on a monthly basis.
    • Refer financial sales leads to Regional Financial Rep Representatives in our 5 defined territories.

    IDEAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    • Demonstrated success in sales is preferred. Customer service experience with the desire to develop sales skills will be considered.
    • Required Licenses: Either L&H or P&C required – ability to obtain the other license within 30 days of extended offer.
    • Strong communication, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
