Administrative Specialist II - -Registrar's Office This full-time position supports the Registrars office in processing all registration forms and the sending and receiving of transcripts. Assists students, faculty and parents with questions regarding their course history and providing information regarding the catalog. Direct support of the Registrar, Associate Registrar, and Assistant Registrars. DUTIES: -Data entry including changes in majors/minors, grades, registration, advisors, transfer credit, roster discrepancies, language proficiency, and exam scores -Process registration of classes, course waivers and monitoring of wait lists -Tracks incomplete grades, independent study and directed study approvals -Fills requests for transcripts, enrollment and degree verifications -Answers questions regarding degree evaluations and university policies with reference to the University Catalog and other appropriate resources -Administers front desk support which includes responding phone calls, emails and walk-in traffic -Supports the Associate and Assistant Registrars in the processing of transfer credit -Works with the Registrar to support curriculum changes and maintaining accuracy in Banner and edit the University Catalog -Provides support for the Academic Appeals Board -Reconciles the office budget, orders and inventories office supplies -Maintains Registrars Office website -Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: -High school diploma/GED required; Associates or vocational degree preferred -Three years office experience -Computer experience using word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based applications, preferred) -Good organizational skills and attention to detail -Good communication/interaction skills, with sensitivity to office protocol in working with a diverse constituency Please download the application atwww.iwu.edu/human-resources/Positions.html.
