Job Description

As the fastest growing, highest-performing charter school network in New York State, Success Academy is reimagining K-12 public education. Nationally recognized for our innovative, whole-child school model and outstanding academic results, Success Academy educators are empowering children from all backgrounds with the knowledge, skills, and self-belief to succeed in college and in life. We now need a results-driven Leader for our Operations Management team.

The Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and support the organization's mission of providing an excellent education to all students.

The Leader, Operations Management reports to the Head, Operations Management and will work primarily from our Network office but will also travel to schools throughout the city as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across all areas of the organization.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic priorities and develop action plans to achieve them.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in operational processes.

• Monitor and evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives, identify barriers to success, and recommend solutions.

• Provide guidance and support to school operational teams and other stakeholders in implementing strategic initiatives.

• Develop and maintain relationships with network stakeholders to gain buy-in and support strategic planning efforts.

• Report on the outcomes of strategic planning initiatives to executives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• At least 5 years of experience in strategic planning, operations management, education leadership, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and use good judgment in moments of ambiguity.

• A proven track record of achieving outcomes through others, including individuals whom they do not directly manage, by building and leveraging strong relationships.

• A desire for feedback and to independently drive personal learning and growth in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

• Experience in education is preferred.

Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00
