  • Responsibilities

    The School Health Institute Manager provides strategic planning and facilitation for MDPH funded School Health Institute for Education and Leadership Development (SHIELD) at BUSPH. The goal of SHIELD is to prepare MA School Health Nurses to serve as clinical leaders, mobilizing teams of educators, services providers and community leaders to address pressing health issues affecting our schools and communities. This program focuses on training and coalition building. In addition, this position will provide leadership in developing training curricula, delivering training and managing stakeholder relationships.

    Required Skills

    • Nursing Degree and Master's Degree Required
    • Doctoral Degree Preferred
    • Prior Experience as a School Nurse
    • Prior Experience designing professional development curriculum
    • Background in curriculum development that meets nursing PD accreditation requirements
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of total experience
