Job Description

1. Responsibility and authority to notify Lead or Supervisor of quality related problems and, if necessary, to stop production to correct quality problems
2. To assist in coordinating the work of production helpers and ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and all safety rules as followed:
3. To operate one or more of the following: the mixing system; calendar; press; hot melt; embosser 1, 2, and 3; anti-sticking agent unit; adhesive unit 1 and 2; U.V. unit; magnetizing unit
4. To start up the hot oil heater and water chillers
5. Perform quality testing; make corrections for out-of-spec conditions
6. Ensure production scheduled to adhered to
7. Assist in training new production employees
8. Perform some maintenance on the press and report any needed repairs on the machines
9. Assist in labeling and packing parts
10. Load and unload trucks
11. Housekeeping

Qualifications

• Education required: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience required: 3 months-1 year related manufacturing experience
• Specific skills, knowledge and abilities required: Knowledge of metric system, computer literate, able to operate a forklift, and able to read and write
