Marlborough Summer Camp Counselors are the first point of contact for our families, and guide our campers through the Marlborough Summer experience.
From creative pursuits to athletic endeavors to academic and leadership skills building, the Marlborough Summer offerings are extensive, and all connected by our mission to ignite curiosity, engage minds, and nurture the mental and physical health of our students as they have fun, make friends, and expand their interests.
Dates for Marlborough Summer 2025
1 Week Camps: June 9 - June 13 and June 16 - June 20
5 Week Session: June 23 - July 25
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with Summer administrators, coordinators and faculty, our camp counselors help plan, lead and implement various programs for children.
Supervise campers and ensure their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-being.
Contribute to the life, spirit, and community of the Marlborough Summer School program by committing to ongoing reflection and support of the program and students.
Organizes and leads various small and large group activities.
Knows and understands all emergency procedures. Enforces, and follows, all safety guidelines, including knowing the whereabouts of your charges at all times.
Under the supervision of the Swim Coordinator, camp counselors who work in or around the pool deck are responsible for the safety of all children in the pool.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
If applying to be a summer lifeguard, Lifeguard certification is required.
Counselors are conscientious workers who show initiative and fulfill their respective responsibilities to create a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment for our students.
Must be available to work the entirety of the Summer Program, including a week long orientation, June 16, 2025 - July 27, 2025.
Daily hours vary depending on the needs of the program, and can range from 4 to 6 hours per day.
