The Mud Bay Helper is a seasonal, temporary position and will assist our Mud Bay store teams in providing critical support to our customers. Mud Bay is working hard to safely provide cats, dogs and their owners the food and supplies they need during the COVID-19 crisis. We are looking for Helpers who are flexible, friendly and focused on providing everyone who walks through our doors an outstanding experience. This position is part-time and is expected to last 60 days after the start date.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides an engaging and fun experience for all who shop with Mud Bay whether in person or through pickup/delivery services
- Supports through a variety of responsibilities including:
- Greeting customers
- Maintaining lines graciously during peak times
- Picking of orders for deliver/curbside pickup
- Carrying out orders for customers
- Answering phone lines and directing inquiries
- Maintains inventory, including receiving, rotating, restocking and facing
- Maintains cleanliness, organization and attractiveness of the store’s sales and support area
- Makes decisions based on good judgment and Mud Bay's mission and values
- Helps their team learn and grow by providing feedback and open communication
- Contributes to a team that celebrates differences and works together in a fun environment
- Thrives in a customer service environment
Total Hourly Pay Rate: $15.20
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to lift to 45 pounds
