This position is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all administrative aspects of three grant funded projects addressing HIV prevention and treatment and will also be responsible for other projects as funds are available. The PM is to ensure that the designated protocols in place for each project are followed or justified in the event of needed change. The PM will directly supervise several program staff, as well as overseeing hiring of new staff. Assists in writing grant proposals and manuscripts. Finally, the PM will supervise several research staff, interns, and/or residence to ensure these staff complete reports and collect data in accordance with the protocols established by the PI.
• Directs the efforts of the staff and ensures programming is carried out in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintains and develops databases for the collection of evaluative and research data.
• Maintains effective communication with staff to ensure outcomes are met in a timely fashion.
• Schedules and attends monthly meetings of the partner agencies to ensure the effectiveness of the collaboration.
• Reports progress regularly to the partner agencies and oversees the completion of required progress reports.
• Meets regularly with principal investigators to report progress.
• Develops and monitors budgets for federally funded grant projects.
• Participates in the development, writing and submission of scholarly manuscripts, presentations, and grant applications
• Communicates and networks with partner departments and local agencies to ensure data collection and reporting.
• Leads and schedules staff meetings, in-service trainings, and workshops.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Hires, trains and supervises program staff in protocols.
Required Skills
- Demonstrate strong managerial skills, managing with excellence this large-scale community-based participatory research project, working with community, clinical and professional persons who have expertise in and engage in health assessment, screening and general intervention
- Experience in proposal development, report writing, and grants management
- Proven abilities to work efficiently and effectively with local, state and federal
- Strong experience with program and infrastructure development.
• Must be organized, creative, independent and self-motivated, enthusiastic, dependable, detail oriented, flexible in scheduling and prioritization, and driven by excellence.
• Must possess exceptional communication skills to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form, including accurate grammar and business correspondence knowledge.

Required Experience
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university is
- Minimum of two (2) years-experience working in public health or health care
- Supervisory experience
- Previous grant management and writing experience
