Develop and conduct COVID vaccine education locally and in rural communities in Middle Tennessee to increase uptake of COVID vaccines by minority and medically underserved populations.
• Develops and conducts COVID health education/promotional presentations on COVID vaccines and related topics in community settings • Works with COVID Mobile Vaccine Group to plan and implements special community events and other programs including arranging for speakers, facilities, resources, and staffing. • Participates in community COVID testing and vaccine clinics/events through Community Network Programs. Provides information/education on COVID Vaccines • Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to read, write, hear, understand and clearly communicate in English. • Ability to maintain strict patient, staff, donor, and volunteer confidentiality at all times. • Ability to maintain composure in stressful environment and react quickly in an emergency. • Skill with computers to include word processing, database management, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, internet, and e-mail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Ability to prioritize work appropriately and make decisions in an independent manner. • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as assigned.
Required Experience
• Bachelors’ degree from an accredited college or university in Health Education or related field, • A minimum of one (1) year of experience is preferred but not required.
