Job Description
Overview :
Prepare and implement media plans for client accounts across all types of media.
** __**Responsibilities :
- Provide research for and write media Point-Of-Views (POVs). Assess various variables including, but not restricted to: circulation, audience information, scale, penetration, and product or service usage.
- Develop multicultural media strategy and recommendations under supervisor guidance.
- Present media plans and provide plan maintenance including objectives/strategies and updates.
- Maintain stewardship of reports including competitive reports using “Kantar” software to assess media schedules of competitors. Be capable of interpreting competitive data and relaying conclusions.
- Prepare flowcharts and budgets for media plan using Excel, PowerPoint, and planning-specific software.
- Prepare and issue buying specs and guidelines to buyers including GRP goals and budgets for use in negotiations.
- Review and verify media buys to ensure proper execution.
- Meet with sales reps to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles for client media plan.
- Liaise with internal Strategic Resources department for use of syndicated resources.
- Be willing to participate in more advanced functions as part of training and development.
- Resolve routine, but complex questions and problems.
- Be accountable for work quality to Zenith standards.
- Demonstrate independent decision making.
- Be capable of some personnel evaluation.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.
Communicates With:
Internal: Partners with Strategy team members, Strategic Resources, Activation Groups, and Finance
External: Some exposure to Client. Significant vendor relationships.
