    Wireless Test Automation Engineer Location: USA- Carlsbad, CA # of Openings: 1 Description Wireless Test Automation Engineer Job Description NETGEAR Inc. is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Junior Engineer to become part of our RF/Wireless team. Job Qualifications As an RF/Wireless Design Engineer, you will participate in, * Design and development of Automation Test Software & Test Systems.

    • Creating Wireless Test Procedures (RF DVT & MTP). * Wireless product testing and system debug in both clean and real-world RF environments. * Design, development, and system integration of RF Sub systems. * Collaborate with FW/SW, SQA, Product Engineer, and ODMs to optimize product/ system level performance. The following qualifications are mandatory for all candidates: * BSEE or MSEE with a GPA 3.0+ * Experience with NI Labview, Python, IXIA Chariot, Iperf / Jperf, Microsoft Office, Omnipeek & Automation Anywhere. * Good understanding of telecommunications and wireless/cellular systems. * Good understanding of TCP/IP. * 3-5 years academic and professional experience. * Excellent verbal and written skills. The followings skills are also highly desired and are considered a plus: * Good understanding of one or more wireless standards: WLAN (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/ad), 2G, 3G, 4G, DECT, WDCT, BT, Zigbee & Z-wave. * Basic RF Design including Impedance Matching, Filter design & Antenna design. * Experience with basic wireless test equipment: Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Vector Network Analyzer, RF High Impedance probes, Function Generators, Oscilloscope & Multi-meter. * Knowledge of worldwide regulatory requirements for wireless systems. * Basic Soldering skills.
