PATIENT COORDINATOR, School of Dental Medicine, Clinical Affairs
Provides excellent customer service to each of the Dental Health Centers' primary customer groups--patients desiring dental services and dental residents. Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, checking-in patients, emergency intake and directing patient concerns to appropriate supervisor while maintaining courteous profession demeanor Support providers by preparing visit sheets and patient charts for each day, contacting patients to make appointments Maintain clinical schedule by imputing appointments, registering new patients, updating patient information and coordinating patient appointments with other appointments Work with insurance office to verify insurance information is correct; calculates patient co-payments based on insurance coverage; assists providers with treatment plan estimates.

High School Diploma required, associate's degree preferred and 1-3 years of work experience.
