  • Responsibilities

    The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support for the implementation of an NIH grant related to data-intensive aging research. The candidate will have an interest in issues surrounding aging, especially Alzheimer's and dementia risk. The candidate will have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, utilize time and resources efficiently, and establish priorities. They will schedule and coordinate regular study team meetings, help document study progress and milestones, and support the Project Manager and investigator team in all administrative tasks. Candidate will also assist with myriad activities to support investigators across multiple sites (i.e. Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, OR), including assisting with organizing events such as paper sprints or hackathons, web site maintenance, and development and support of educational initiatives.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Support documentation and filing of critical study documents including study protocols, IRBs, and data use agreements related to an NIH grants.
    • Support IRB submission, manage progress reports, and coordinate to ensure data storage is consistent with the data use agreement requirements.
    • Manage schedules, facilitate collaboration, and act as a liaison with both internal and external partners to ensure project goals are met.
    • Assist with proposal preparation, scheduling, filing manuscripts, and maintaining project tracking platforms to monitor progress.
    • Organize and prepare agendas for meetings, track action items, and document project activities and progress.
    • Foster a collaborative environment, proactively address challenges, and ensure timelines are met.

    Required Skills

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
    • 1-3 years of relevant work experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 1-3 years of experience working with complex data sets

    This is an in-person/on-premises role with the occasional opportunity for remote work, upon consideration of impact on business operations.
