  • Responsibilities

    The Research Specialist will work directly with participants and data from the BU ADC HOPE Study and the Bogalusa Heart Study. As part of the BU ADC team, the RS will serve as a liaison between the BU (BU ADC) and Tulane (BHS) teams. They will manage one of the AHA-funded projects by conducting study visits with participants, acting as the point of contact for technology companies that wish to join our suite of technologies, and/or answering participant questions regarding technologies they are using.

    Duties will include: collating, managing, and analyzing data associated with age-related cognitive decline, searching literature and digital technology business sector to inform evolvement of the platform as well as guide study design and analyses, helping PIs conduct statistical data analyses ensuring all assumptions are met, and preparing data summaries in forms of reports and presentations. Additionally, the Research Specialist will take part in general project management and meeting administrative and funding organizations reporting requirements.

    Required Skills

    Bachelor's and 1-3 years' experience.
