  • Responsibilities

    The position of research coordinator is to coordinator study logistics with various clinical services, schedule patient visits, implement inpatient and outpatient clinical research protocols on human subjects, for the Sections of Podiatry, Bariatric, Vascular and Thoracic Surgery in the Department of Surgery, manage data, resolve queries, collect specimens inter-operatively and to maintain databases. They will also assist investigators with preparation of adverse event reports, deviations reporting, data collection and adherence to current regulatory good clinical practices (GCP) guidelines. Also, coordinator will assist investigators and Executive Director of Research with Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Biosafety Committee (IBC) medical writing and submissions for study applications, informed consent forms (ICFs) and standard operating procedures (SOP) writing, and preparation to monitoring visits and internal/external audits.

    Required Skills

    BS/BA in Biomedical sciences required, MA/MS in relevant field is desired but not required. 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
