  • Responsibilities

    The Department of Global and Population Health is seeking a dental assistant to work with community partners in several locations. The ideal candidate will provide clinical chairside dental assisting for the school-based dental programs, head start dental programs, and for the Chelsea School Dental Center located throughout the Boston, Chelsea, and surrounding areas. Other duties related to providing care in non-traditional settings include (but are not limited to) escorting children to and from classrooms and transporting and maintaining portable dental equipment. Responsible for data entry, patient record preparation, and billing. The applicant does not have to have their own car but must be willing to travel to the sites served mentioned above. Some lifting of equipment and supplies is required. Flexibility and commitment to team is essential Hours vary and will include some evening work. If selected, candidate will be required to become CPR and X-ray certified.
