  • Responsibilities

    The Non-clinical Studies Unit at Boston University's National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL) works to understand the molecular biology and pathogenesis of viruses that require maximum containment, including Ebola virus and Marburg virus. Research technician's work will involve purchasing of supplies, ensure equipment functionality, data maintenance and coordinating, developing. Ability to work in BSL-3 and BSL-4 laboratories is required.

    Required Skills

    Bachelor's Degree required with 1-3 years of experience. Experience organizing and analyzing data evaluating efficacy of vaccines and therapeutics. Must be able to pass health and security checks to permit work in a BSL-3 and BSL-4 laboratories with select agent viruses.
