    Xavier University’s Office of Residence Life is seeking a Residential Services Coordinator to be a supportive force to our team and processes. The ideal person for the job will be a problem solver with excellent communication skills and impeccable attention to detail. The ability to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines is essential to the position. This role provides daily administrative support for the Office of Residence Life. Specific duties include supervision of student workers, office management, and providing front line customer service to students, staff, parents, and guests to the University. This is an hourly position working 37.5 hours per week.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES including but not limited to the following:

    • Serves as first point of contact for students, families, and guests of the University in facilitating all public facing office operations including by phone, email and in person visits.
    • Hires, trains, and supervises central office student workers including coordination with Student Employment office, on-going training, project allocation, and budget monitoring.
    • Assist with coordination and administration of all opening, closing, facilities turnover, correspondence with students/parents as well as other University offices.
    • Manages departmental programmatic resources, finances, and inventories.
    • Act as a liaison with other University Offices and outside vendors for the Office of Residence Life.
    • Manage departmental communications to residential students, alumni, families and supporters.
    • Administers processing of all departmental invoices and deposits in collaboration with campus partners.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Associate’s degree required
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 1-3 years of related work experience
    • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
