    About the Role

    Boston University Enrollment Service Operations seeks a Staff Coordinator. The Staff Coordinator assists in the accurate and timely processing of a high volume of student inquiries, applications and related credentials, and financial aid documents. The role performs scanning and indexing using document imaging software, as well as data entry to the student information system, in accordance with established procedures. It also helps ensure accurate creation and maintenance of student records. It assists with quality control tasks and troubleshooting as well as special data processing and mail projects, as assigned. This position works overtime during peak processing periods, including occasional Saturdays and University Intersession. The Staff Coordinator works primarily with the other Staff Coordinators, Senior Staff Coordinators, and supervisors within the Enrollment Services Operations processing team. This role reports to the Records Support Supervisor.

    The Staff Coordinators primary duties include:

    • Processing documents on document imaging system and mainframe
    • Accurate and timely validation, data entry and regular updating of a wide variety and high volume of documents onto the University's mainframe and document imaging systems
    • The processing of supporting documents for student applications for admission and financial assistance, including: transcript validation, 1040 tax document keying, reviewing and keying loan applications and complex appeal requests, etc.
    • Processing and verifying document types and updating and validating document keywords and student information for the Office of the University Registrar, University Service Center, and Student Employment.
