STEAM program Facilitator
Job description
Hands-On Technology Education, LLC (HOTE) seeks to provide safe, engaging, and balanced STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) activities for K- 12th graders through our signature programs, that include workshops, Afterschool programs, and camps.
The successful STEAM program facilitator will help augment our program Enrichment by engaging students with hands on STEAM activites and curriculum at one of our program sites.
Program Locations: Carlsbad, UCSD, Central and Southern San Diego, CA Region
Program Dates: Rolling (Academic Year)
Program Working Hours:
Shifts vary, but typrically fall between Monday and Friday.
Total Working Hours (Per Week):
Anticipate 5- 20 hours per week depending on availability of instructor and program (i.e. days of the week worked)
Program Mission: The primary focus of the STEAM Program facilitator is to provide exposure to STEAM and Technology Education Fundamentals in a fun, engaging, and empathetic way for participating students.
STEAM Education topics are themed topics around Computer Science & Engineering activities and are described on website (www.handsontecheducation.com)
