    Job Description

    The Technology Project Management Team is a key contributor to our mission of driving innovation across the Enterprise. We seek a skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join the team and lead a wide range of projects from conception to completion. Reporting to the Head of Technology Project Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of a portfolio of projects. In this role, you will bring together cross-functional groups to implement new systems, deliver system enhancements and enable process improvements. The Senior Project Manager will liaise with Technology product leads and business owners to define project objectives and ultimately ensure project outcomes are met on time and within budget. Successful delivery of outcomes will require identification and management of dependencies, proactive risk mitigation, and exceptional communication with internal and external partners.

    SUMMARY

    You will join the Success Academies Technology Project Management team which is responsible for discovery, budgeting, planning, execution and monitoring of all Technology projects across the Enterprise.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, with responsibility for project schedule and performance. This will include:

      • Defining project scope, business requirements and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders

      • Identifying the resources needed to achieve project goals

      • Developing full-scale project plans, including timelines, deliverables, communications and change management strategies

      • Identifying and managing key risks

      • Flexibly adapting project plans to attend to changes in project scope or issues that arise

      • Conducting project post-mortems, including a recap of successful and unsuccessful project elements and creating a recommendations report

    • Strategically plan for project communications, ensuring engagement from all stakeholders at each phase of a project. This will include:

      • Developing and delivering project charters, status reports, and all project documentation

      • Engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, from Executive Steering Committees to individual contributors on project teams

      • Facilitating alignment on roles and expectations for teams during the project life cycle, as well as expectations for business owners following project close out

      • Proactively communicating with stakeholders regarding project risks and contingency plans

      • Preparing affected business areas for transition to new ways of working, including implementing new business processes

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • A bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g. computer science, information systems) or related experience

    • 5+ years experience as a project manager

    • PMP Certification

    • Scrum Master Certification

    Compensation Range

    Annual Salary: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00
