We are looking for a smart, dynamic, and energetic marketer who is passionate about quickly growing their skills in developing and bring to life engaging, on-brand, social media-first content ideas and campaigns that stem directly from our organic content strategy and serve to inspire, engage, inform and excite EF Educational Tours’ audiences. • Engage positively with customers and followers on social media while maintaining a unified brand voice across all social channels

    WHO YOU ARE:

    • 1-2 years of professional experience in social media, brand marketing, or a related field

    • Strong knowledge of the type of content that drives engagement on social media channels and the ability to help others shape content that gets traction on these channels

    • Proven knowledge of and hands-on experience working with a wide range of social media channels

    • Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills (and the ability to adapt to a brand tone of voice)

    • Excellent research and fact checking skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain journalistic standards across all social media content

    • Ability to collect, analyze and report on social media statistics and respond to them against KPIs

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills-proven ability to work under strict deadlines and keep up with the always-on churn of social media activity

    • Familiarity with social media management tools (i.e. Hootsuite, Later, Falcon, etc.) is a plus but not required

    • Must be willing and able to work some weekends and off hours

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

    • Be highly tuned into the news cycle, social media trends, cultural moments and viral content (and put forward ways of capitalizing on this knowledge)

    • Have the ability to strategically prioritize the social media activities that will have the most impact on the business

    • Be a creative thinker and highly motivated

    • Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a large team
