Minimum of 3-5 years in customer service, clerical, event leadership, or grant administration.
Experience with CRM systems preferred.
Previous work with underprivileged or disadvantaged populations, especially in educational settings, is a plus.
Experience in higher education, sales, marketing, or community relations is preferred.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Solid decision-making skills and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, multitasking effectively.
Proficiency in office technology, software, and equipment.
Flexible scheduling which could include some evenings and weekends as required by supervisors.
Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with students, faculty, staff, and external constituents.
Experience interpreting and explaining school/office policies and procedures.

These positions primarily focus on delivering exemplary service within the following areas of focus: admissions, registration, student services, financial aid, program coordination, and administrative support.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Serve as the (first) point of contact for prospective students, parents, and guests.
Address inquiries related to admissions, registration, and student services.
Ability to relate to people of diverse backgrounds (ages, races, socio-economic).
Strong oral and written communication skills across various formats (in-person, phone, online).
Ability to create a welcoming environment amid busy situations.
Help them apply for MCC, financial aid or navigate college.
Organize on campus events and tours.
Answer student questions while teaching students how to use self-service tools and assisting students with all enrollment services needs in one place, allowing students to avoid visiting multiple offices.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise judgment in sensitive situations.
Keep data current & accurate.
Careful adherence to policies and procedures, including FERPA regulations.
Coordinate office operations, including supply requests and record-keeping.
Mentor, train and coach student employees.
Communicate with students, parents, colleagues or community members both orally and in well written communication, texts or social media posts.
Work with internal teams or maybe you will work with external groups on grant programs (e.g., One Workforce Grant, Upward Bound).
Encourages and facilitates cooperation, pride, trust, and group identity; fosters commitment and team spirit; works with others to achieve goals.
Provide academic advising and refer students to appropriate resources.
Monitoring student progress and fostering relationships.
