The Organizational Development & Learning (OD&L) team leads a comprehensive workforce and talent development approach for the university's academic and administrative functions, applying a holistic approach to creating conditions for thriving and professional success. Bringing a human-centered lens to design learning opportunities, the OD&L team provides learning opportunities for staff and faculty leaders at all levels. Reporting to the Assistant VP, Talent Development, the Training and Learning Specialist will support emerging work to create, design, and deliver holistic programs and initiatives that enable employees to realize their career potential. The OD&L Specialist will design learning materials to support employees with career development, including but not limited to transferrable soft-skills, foundational skills for successful performance and career navigation. In this position, the specialist will align existing and new initiatives to build alignment with core competencies and institutional values while incorporating practices that resonate with BU's complex, diverse and evolving workforce, and as aligned with the institutional direction.
