    The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will play a crucial role in the recruitment process, primarily focusing on administrative tasks related to recruitment and new hires. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, who can efficiently handle multiple tasks and ensure a seamless and positive new hire experience throughout the pre-boarding journey.

    In this role, you will utilize tools and systems including the applicant tracking system (ATS), background check system, HRIS systems, Social Security Administration website, and learning management system to administer new hire tasks. This position will also serve as a liaison with Indiana University Human Resources and will have a strong working knowledge of their systems, tools, and resources.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Knowledge of federal/state labor laws and sound hiring practices
    • Demonstrated success in cultivating, developing, and enhancing professional relationships
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Collaborative working style and ability to work with many stakeholders at varying levels
    • Ability to appropriately articulate the mission and vision of Indiana University and the IU Foundation to attract potential candidates
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality, with experience in conflict resolution

    Education and Experience:

    • A bachelor’s degree is required
    • A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience and/or HR experience is required
    • Combinations of related education and experience will be considered
