This may include allegations of sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking. Assists with and/or coordinates with system member officials other types of investigations on an as-needed basis. Assists with training on civil rights-related issues. Required Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * Two years of experience in investigations, conflict resolution, and/or compliance enforcement Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Ability to evaluate and manage highly sensitive and confidential situations * Ability to work effectively with diverse populations of students, faculty, staff and other constituents * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations * Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. * Ability to use office suite software computer applications * Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others Preferred Education and Experience: * Advanced Degree in Higher Education Administration, Law, Human Resources, Counseling or Social Work, Student Affairs, or related field * Three years of experience in higher education civil rights, and/or Title IX investigations Preferred Licenses and Certifications: * Mediator Certification, ATIXA Training or similar training Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Possess Microsoft Office Suite computer skills. Job Responsibilities: * Conducts Investigations: Under direct supervision, conducts investigations of alleged civil rights discrimination, sexual harassment, and/or related retaliation in accordance with system regulations and member rules and procedures and writes comprehensive investigation reports * Provides Training: Assists with civil rights related training to University Community * Coordinates Investigations: Coordinates investigations with the Office of General Counsel * Performs other duties as assigned.
