Open to External and Internal FLSA Salary Salary is commensurate based on qualifications and relevant experience Duration Funding expected to continue Pay Basis Monthly Benefits Eligible Yes Job Summary Responsible for reviewing and evaluating plans from Public Water Systems (PWS) and Districts data. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for reviewing plans, maps, and completes assessment on needed aspects of well data. Responsible to provide technical assistance to city and county officials, water system owners, operators, engineers, and lawyers, agency staff, other governmental entities, and the general public in relation to the Ground Water Rule. Responsible to provide analysis of PWS laboratory results as needed by the TCEQ according to established standards. Prepares necessary reports that summarize work activity as required. Review and update PWS or U and D information in the TCEQ database as required. Adheres to TCEQ paper and electronic file management requirements. Follows all applicable TCEQ standard operating procedures. Ensures that business procedures maintain compliance with all TCEQ rules or policies. Assists in reviewing and streamlining existing TCEQ business procedures. Assists in developing and implementing new procedures. Attends training as appropriate to supplement familiarity with programmatic requirements as directed by the TCEQ Project Manager and UT Arlington. Performs other duties assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree. One (1) year of experience in data analysis, environmental quality management, public utilities, business administration, or a related field or the equivalent.
