The position is responsible for assisting in all aspects of recruiting
prospective student athletes to the University of Michigan Football
program. Reporting directly to the Director of Football Recruiting, the
employee will adhere to all NCAA rules and regulations and fall under
the ultimate supervision of the Head Football Coach. Responsibilities* *
Assist in all areas related to the recruitment of prospective student
athletes to the University of Michigan Football program. * Assist in
organizing the scheduling and logistics of all official and unofficial
visits of prospective student athletes. * Organize applicable recruiting
information as determined by the Head Coach, Director of Recruiting and
other football staff members. * Assist in all on-campus recruiting
activities to include campus and facility tours. * Facilitate
communication and correspondence plans for prospective student-athletes.
- Develop the creation of department marketing plan to generate creative
content for social media and print mail. * Assist in all game day
recruiting activities. * Oversee Recruiting Tickets for prospects and
high school coaches. * Assist camp director with organization of all
institutional summer football camps. * Assist the Director of Football
Operations with tasks as needed. Required Qualifications* * Bachelor
degree required. * Minimum of two years experience at the collegiate or
NFL level as either a player, coach or support staff member. *
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. * Must
possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.Must have a
service-oriented attitude. * Demonstrated ability to prioritize and
manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines and work effectively with
frequent interruptions. * Demonstrated problem-solving skills and
solutions focused approach to challenges and improvements. *
Demonstrated ability to utilize good judgment in the interpretation and
application of policies and procedures and to exercise discretion in
confidential matters is essential. * Excellent computer skills. * Must
be willing to attack every day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind.
