The SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK invites applications for an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE II to join their team. The successful applicant is required to have outstanding customer service and time management skills. The person assigned to this position will assist in multiple projects, will have standard daily work and will interface with students and faculty. This role holds a key position in the department which has responsibilities working with staff, students and faculty including:
The successful applicant must have the ability to multitask and to work well in an organized team setting with a wide variety of people. The person in this role must also have exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
Required Skills
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills and the ability to disseminate information to appropriate stakeholders
Knowledge of HIPAA and FERPA laws and application. Be able to ensure absolute privacy and confidentiality with regards to protected information
Exceptional computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Outlook and the ability to learn and work in multiple computer systems simultaneously
Ability to organize meetings, events and celebrations
Maintain accurate data through data entry and self-auditing to ensure all systems and databases are accurate and up to date
Ability to work independently or within a team environment
Ability to collaborate across the college and university
Working knowledge and ability to use office equipment such as: head phones, multi-line phones, copiers, fax machines, scanners and printers

Position Details
POSITION TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE II
POSITION NUMBER: NEW
DEPARTMENT: School of Social Work
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours a week), Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 12 months/year.
SALARY: $12.92/HR
UNION AFFILIATION: FOCUS-MFPE
PROBATIONARY PERIOD: Six months minimum
