Opportunity at a Glance
The Vice President, HR Operations will drive HR process management, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all HR functions. This leader will be responsible for optimizing HR workflows, technology, employee service delivery, and operational execution to ensure a seamless experience for employees and HR teams. The role will oversee HR technology (HRIS, ATS, others and integrations/partnership with IT), analytics and data consultation, HR process improvement, employee service and resource center(s), and potentially payroll, ensuring these functions operate at peak efficiency.
This role requires a process-focused, results-driven leader with deep expertise in HR operations, process reengineering, and technology enablement. The HR Operations leader will require a strategic mindset and holistic systems perspective with deep appreciation for driving efficiency, scale and optimal business outcomes. The VP will work closely with HR leadership, IT, Finance, and business partners to standardize, streamline, and scale HR processes to support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Process Management & Optimization
Design, implement, and continuously refine end-to-end HR processes across all HR functions, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and ease of use.
Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies, driving automation and process improvements to enhance service delivery.
Develop a framework for process governance, ensuring consistency in HR policies, workflows, and execution.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure HR process effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), HR Business Partners, and IT to ensure alignment and seamless process execution.
HR Technology & Systems Optimization
Lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of HR technology, including but not limited to HRIS, ATS, reporting tools, and automation solutions.
Develop a strong partnership with IT to drive seamless system integrations, upgrades, and data security enhancements.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all applications.
Enable HR systems to support efficient process execution, employee self-service, and data-driven decision-making.
Improve HR reporting and analytics, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
Facilitate and lead data and analytic consultation practices to ensure alignment with desired objectives and efficiency goals.
Employee Service and Resource Center & Operational Excellence
Improve and oversee delivery of employee support center in alignment with current and future state of a world-class HR model.
Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and metrics to ensure a best-in-class employee experience with optimal ROI.
Implement technology and process enhancements to improve delivery of employee experience and risk mitigation.
Payroll & Compliance (If Applicable)
Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in payroll processing and related HR functions through effective partnerships among Payroll, Total Rewards and Finance stakeholders.
Ensure HR processes align with legal, regulatory, and compliance standards across all regions.
Support audits and data governance efforts to ensure HR operational integrity.

Additional Information
_In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $225,000 and $325,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
