    Xavier University’s Department of Finance at the Williams College of Business (WCB) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, beginning August 2025. We welcome candidates with expertise in all areas of Finance, though preference will be given to those specializing in Corporate Finance. The review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

    The WCB is AACSB accredited. The Department of Finance includes eight tenure-track faculty, one nontenure-track teaching faculty, and is home to the Fifth Third Trading Center. U.S. News ranked our Undergraduate Finance Program No. 28 and our Online MBA for Finance program No.10 nationally for 2023-2024.

    Candidates for the positions must have earned or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Finance or Financial Economics. Degree must be conferred by August 1, 2025. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research is expected. The ideal candidate will also possess a passion for service to the academic community. Teaching responsibilities will be both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching online MBA courses is also an expectation.
