Job Title: Production Coordinator, Part-Time Facility / Location: Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum City: Uniondale State: New York External Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: This is a part-time position, responsible for a variety of media, AV, and scoreboard duties and equipment. The position is responsible for assisting with video scoreboard, sound, and lighting production needs for events. The Production Coordinator also assists with creation of video and graphical content for Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum events. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Edit, create, and manage media and content schedules for Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum events Create and load graphics and videos to playback devices and control systems Must possess understanding of professional broadcast and live video production equipment Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced and stressful environment while making quick and sound decisions with an optimistic and positive attitude Work closely with marketing and game presentation staff on creation, scheduling, and execution of all creative content ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: At least 1-2 years of relevant live event production experience Must have strong production management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines The ability to demonstrate dependability and reliability by being punctual, working assigned and varying shifts, and completing responsibilities in a timely manner are required Must have a flexible schedule, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary Must be very organized and incredibly detailed oriented Must work well in a team environment Must have the legal right to work in the US Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in relevant field plus 2 years of progressively responsible positions and/or post baccalaureate experience in the job offered.
