Job Description
We are currently seeking a Benefits & Leave Manager to support the People Services Team at our New York City office!
Supports and coordinates all US and Canadian corporate and field leave of absence cases and workers’ compensation claims with the support of HR and benefit team members across all Equinox brands. This includes general administration of disability and company and state leaves, comprehensive case management and compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act and all related employment laws. Performs exemplary customer service and assistance to our team members, executives and People Services business partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualifications
associate’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field
five years of experience in managing leave cases (FMLA, STD) and workers’ compensation claims
five years of experience in handling employee relations cases
Experience in both union and non-union retail industry, preferred
