Overview:
As the Front Desk Attendant at Texas Family Fitness, you are the face of our club, playing a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience, serving as an Ambassador of Texas Family Fitness, and providing knowledgeable support on all aspects of club operations. This role requires you to manage customer communications and issues from initial contact through to resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence:
Provide outstanding customer service, consistently exceeding member and guest expectations.
Greet every member and guest promptly, ensuring each person feels welcomed as part of the Texas Family Fitness community.
Handle inquiries by phone and in person with detailed knowledge of memberships and services.
Address and resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain the security of retail and concession areas.
Ensure the lobby is clean, organized, and presents a family-friendly, professional atmosphere.
Keep the front desk attended at all times.
Membership Management:
Promptly check in every member and guest upon arrival and offer a friendly farewell as they leave.
Ensure children are accompanied by an adult member and safely escorted to the Kids Club.
Confirm appointments, assist with referrals, and process membership cancellations.
Promote and up-sell family memberships while focusing on member retention.
Account Management:
Maintain confidentiality of all member and guest records.
Update contact information as needed and accurately collect and post member balances.
Verify and update account information, including credit card details, to ensure records are current.
Requirements:
Education: High School diploma completed or in progress.
Experience: Prior customer service experience is highly desired, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
Personality: Personable, enthusiastic, optimistic, and outgoing.
Attitude: Positive with a collaborative team-player mindset.
Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Skills: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic computer applications.
