THIS IS A YEAR ROUND FULL TIME HOURS POSITION.

SUMMARY: Landscaping Team Members are responsible for keeping Silver Dollar City beautiful. Our breathtaking landscaping is a major component of creating Memories Worth Repeating for our guests. The Landscaping Team works diligently to maintain our grounds, as well as create new landscapes. We are looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of professional landscaping experience. You must have a current valid Missouri Driver's License (Class E preferred) or resident state equivalent.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, though other duties may be assigned:

• Plant trees, shrubs, and flowers
• Spread soil, mulch, and compost
• Mix and use fertilizer and soil additives, appropriate pesticides
• Water lawns, trees, and plants
• Make up flower containers and baskets
• Acknowledge insects and disease problems
• Work with rocks, gravel, and brush
• Use hand tools
• Use landscape equipment properly
• Rake, sweep, and shovel
• Mix and use soil and cement
• Seed and straw new lawns
• Prune
• Propagate
• Water and maintain greenhouses 
• Respond promptly to customer needs, for both guest and employees
