The brand licensing intern will assist and support IMG Licensing’s LA-based licensing team, with a focus across talent, sports teams, gaming properties, and media companies.
Responsibilities
• Assist the sales team with appropriate tools, materials and presentations as required
• Develop a knowledge and understanding of licensing, current licensees, prospective partners and targeted product categories
• Maintain various database and spreadsheet files including legal and prospecting trackers for weekly client calls, licensee contact information, marketing support deliverables, and contractual commitments
• Create and/or update sales presentation materials, product inspiration boards using PowerPoint
• Support research activities including continuous analysis of competitive environment within licensing and consumer trends
• Support licensees to ensure smooth running of design approval process and adherence to the relevant brand guidelines
• Provide phone support; organize calls, listen and proactively set follow up Independently draft responses to general correspondence
• Assist with the planning and execution of special events, projects, meetings and conferences
• Attend and participate in divisional/departmental meetings
• Assist with execution of projects and management of administrative duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job
Qualifications
• Interest in licensing from a sales, product development, and retail perspective
• Interest in gaming, sports and/or entertainment brands

Program Details
We offer internship opportunities within our global sports and entertainment businesses, including global cultural marketing agency 160/90; sports rights management, production, and digital content leader IMG (Rights, FC Diez, Seven League); global licensing business IMG Licensing; premium hospitality and live experiences leader On Location, Professional Bull Riders (PBR), and entertainment agency WME (including WME Sports and Fashion). Locations include New York City, Nashville, St. Louis, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Dallas, Chicago, London, and Paris. All internships are in the office and in-person, unless otherwise noted.
In addition to hands-on experience and exposure to the global sports and entertainment industry, interns participate in events such as welcome/farewell sessions, a speaker series featuring company leaders, and career training workshops addressing everything from LinkedIn profile enhancement to resume building, interviewing skills, and networking.
Internships are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, or standard local working hours in the intern location.
Important Dates
• Early January: Recruiters will kick off the recruiting process.
• February 10: Applications will be accepted through this date.
• February - March: The interview and selection process will take place.
• The program will be 10 weeks in length. (June 9 - August 15)
Recruitment Process
Our process consists of four steps.
• 1. Tell us your story. In addition to your application and resume, please attach a word document and in 300 words max, share why you’re interested in the role. What are the unique perspectives, abilities, and qualities you would bring to the role? What do you hope to learn?
• 2. Video Interview with a Recruiter. If selected fort he next round, you will be contacted by the recruiting team to schedule a 30- minute video interview.
• 3. Video Interview with the Hiring Manager. If selected to move forward, you will meet with the hiring manager and potentially 1-2 additional team members.
• 4. Offer or Decline. If selected for the position, a recruiter will call to extend an offer. If you have not been selected, a recruiter will reach out to let you know.
Eligibility
Our program is designed for rising juniors, rising seniors, and those within six months of graduation from an undergraduate university, unless otherwise noted.
Candidates must indicate if they now or in the future require Endeavor to commence (“sponsor”) an immigration case in order to employ them (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration case).
Pay
We offer paid internships; rates vary based on location. Pay rates typically align with local required minimums and vary by country.
