    Overview:

    The Membership Sales Counselor is responsible for educating potential new members about Texas Family Fitness, showcasing our club amenities, and explaining membership pricing. This role involves conducting club tours, generating leads, prospecting, and achieving sales targets. The Membership Sales Counselor will build strong relationships both within and outside the club, establishing a robust referral network and a strong community presence. The ideal candidate is persistent, motivated, and resilient.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customer Service Excellence:

    Provide exceptional customer service, consistently exceeding customer expectations.

    Assist potential members in selecting the membership option that best aligns with their health and fitness goals.

    Create memorable and positive experiences for all customers and guests.

    Lead Generation:

    Identify potential members through promotions, networking, and community outreach, including calling on businesses and organizations, obtaining referrals, and executing marketing strategies.

    Make outbound calls to prospects, qualify leads, and set appointments to meet and exceed monthly sales goals.

    Brand Ambassador:

    Represent Texas Family Fitness in the community, driving brand awareness and promoting our health clubs and services.

    Develop and maintain relationships with schools, community groups, organizations, and individuals to support and enhance our community presence.

    Requirements:

    Education:

    High School Diploma or GED required; some college or continuing education preferred.

    Experience:

    1-2 years of prior sales experience preferred.

    Proven track record of success in sales, fitness, retail, customer service, or hospitality management.

    Skills:

    Proficiency in computer programs, including spreadsheets, word processing, internet usage, and email.

    Strong oral and written communication skills.

    Personable, enthusiastic, optimistic, and outgoing personality.

    Positive attitude with a collaborative team-player mindset.

    Strong work ethic, integrity, and professionalism.
